SmartPlay Camps blend high-energy activities with optional academic enrichment — so your child stays busy, has fun, and doesn’t lose ground before the next school year. No burnout. No boredom. Just movement, play, and the option to grow.

Most summer programs make you choose — activity OR academics. SmartPlay gives your child both, without sacrificing either. The majority of every day is active and social. The learning? Completely optional, totally flexible, and built around your child’s needs.

Campers rotate through a variety of structured activities throughout the day,
keeping them active, engaged, and having fun from start to finish.

Campers can participate in optional enrichment sessions using Time4Learning, a self-paced online curriculum. Students can use this time to review material, strengthen skills, or get ahead for the upcoming school year. Weekly progress reports are provided to keep families informed.

Core subjects such as Math and Language Arts are available at every grade level, allowing students to strengthen foundational skills or get ahead for the upcoming school year.

Additional enrichment options vary by grade group and are outlined below.

Campers take part in a variety of fun, active games and group activities designed to keep them moving, engaged, and having fun throughout the day. Activities are simple, inclusive, and easy to follow, making it easy for all campers to participate regardless of experience level.

Tag and variations of tag
Dodgeball
Relay races
Kickball
Team challenges and group games

Campers have scheduled time to relax and recharge while watching carefully selected, educational, and age-appropriate movies or TV shows. These sessions provide a calm break in the day while still offering engaging and informative content.

Content may include educational documentaries, nature programs, or age-appropriate shows that encourage curiosity, learning, and discussion in a relaxed setting.

Campers engage in a variety of social games and interactive activities designed to encourage teamwork, creativity, and friendly competition. This station gives campers a chance to connect, think, and have fun in a relaxed group setting.

Every camper rotates through all four activities each day. 3rd & 4th grade and 5th & 6th grade groups run on opposite rotations so each group gets dedicated gym time, enrichment, game room, and movie room every day. Game room may move outside when weather allows.

Campers participate in a condensed version of the daily rotations, staying active, engaged, and involved through a mix of games, activities, and optional enrichment.

As a counselor, you will:
